I am drowning in antibiotics and have been living in my robe all weekend. Tonsillitis is no joke and one of the most painful experiences I have been through. Dramatic? Maybe... I am not the type of person to just sit on a couch all day. I have to be super busy so being on bed rest until Wednesday is a serious struggle. I have sorority meetings and events, work, and homework that needs to be done but I am going to have to put everything on hold for a bit in order to recover quickly. Not the most fun time I'm having but I guess it could be worse!
I like to believe I break a lot of fashion rules like wearing last season's shoes or carrying the same cross body for 4 years in a row. One major no-no that I don't agree with is wearing white after Labor Day. I believe white is a year round color but depends on how you wear it. I love the "winter white" look because it can be so crisp in cold weather.
So this look I am wearing is a perfect way to break the rules! I mean it is long sleeve so I am assuming it is acceptable. Also, pastel pink is one of the major colors of the Fall, which I was so surprised by. That being said I didn't hesitate to purchase this faux suede pink skirt. Totes adorbs right? These shoes are definitely from last season but paring booties with a look like this helps give it a more Fall look. Throw on a long coat and you are ready for Winter!
What is your fave fashion rule to break?
xoxo, Christina Avera
